manufacturers readied themselves to swamp the mass market. To complement a fashion for the briefest of
hot pants, women's boots reached the thigh. comfortable walking boot, became fashionable footwear in the 1980s.

These fabulous mid-calf wedge boots are a fashion staple this season. Suede upper with quilted design
 and criss cross roping detail. Faux fur collar for a very fashionable look. Slip-resistant rubber sole. 13 shaft and 15.75" calf circumference. 2 1/4" heel. The creativity of the early seventies encompassed new fabrics, finishes and shapes, often taking old styles such as platforms and wedges and re-working them. Toes were generally blunt or square.
